Webinar Speakers: Integrating Health into Scenario Planning
Webinar Registration (no cost): Integrating Health into Scenario Planning
This webinar will showcase the results of two unique projects in North America developed by UD4H. These projects integrate physical activity and chronic diseases health outcomes with scenario planning tools, allowing for the estimation of current conditions and forecast future conditions based on future change scenarios. The first was developed through a partnership with Toronto Public Health, on behalf of Healthy Canada by Design and the Canadian Partnership Against Cancer-initiated Coalitions Linking Action and Science for Prevention, to study the redevelopment of the formerly industrial West Don Lands area near Downtown Toronto. The second highlights the implementation of a health equity study as part of a Regional Transportation Plan development process with the San Joaquin Council of Governments in metropolitan Stockton.
