Top News Posted on March 24, 2023

Thank you to our silver level sponsors of the 2023 San Joaquin Valley Policy Conference: Better Together, April 24-26, at Great Wolf Lodge in Manteca.

The conference is presented by the San Joaquin Valley Regional Planning Agencies Policy Council and hosted this year by the San Joaquin Council of Governments (SJCOG). The welcome reception is April 24, followed by a day and a half of networking and conference sessions highlighting best practices and innovations in housing, passenger rail, social equity projects, TradePort California, and finishing what we started on State Route 99. The keynote speaker on opening day of the conference is San Joaquin County native and former NASA astronaut José Hernández.

Local agencies and officials will be honored during the annual Blueprint Awards Ceremony Luncheon (noon April 26). The awards are an opportunity to recognize outstanding achievements and practices in the built environment.

SJCOG’s conference partners include the San Joaquin Valley Regional Planning Agencies Policy Council, American Planning Association California Chapter Central Section, California Housing and Community Development, and San Joaquin Valley Regional Early Action Planning.
