SJCOG released its Draft 2018 Regional Transportation Plan/Sustainable Communities Strategy and its Technical Appendix for public review and comment on Friday, March 2, 2018. SJCOG updates the long-term plan every four years as a guide to prioritize investments that will improve San Joaquin County's transportation system over the next 20-plus years.
SJCOG has scheduled two public hearings and a series of public presentations/open houses throughout the county for comment on the draft Plan. Residents who attend these events will have the opportunity to hear its local and regional impact; ask questions; and offer comments on the draft Plan's goals, proposed growth patters, transportation investment strategy, and key actions identified to address ongoing and long-term regionlal challenges.
