On August 24, 2017, the SJCOG Board of Directors approved amendments to the Measure K Renewal Expenditure Plan. No amendments were submitted for the Measure K Renewal Ordinance. The Expenditure Plan amendments include:

  • Adding the City of Tracy's Interstate 205/Mountain House Parkway Interchange, Interstate 580/International Parkway Interchange, and International Parkway projects to the Congestion Relief, Regional Arterials category of the Measure K program to be eligible for Measure K funding.
  • Adding the City of Stockton's Lower Sacramento Road project to the Congestion Relief, Regional Arterials category of the Measure K program to be eligible for Measure K funding.
  • Making a scope change to the City of Stockton's Mariposa Road project, which will change the western limits of the project from State Route 99 to 8th Street.
  • Making a scope change to the City of Stockton's Pacific Avenue project, which will reduce the scope of the project to include widening for bicycle facilities and extending the southern limits of the project from the Calaveras River to Harding Way.

A 45-day override period is currently open for any Jurisdiction wishing to pass resolutions to override these amendments. The override period ends 45 days after the SJCOG Board of Directors approval of the amendments. Therefore, the last day to formally notify the SJCOG, in writing by registered mail, is on October 9, 2017.
