[ARCHIVED] 2022 San Joaquin Valley Policy Conference

SJV Policy Conf 2022

After a COVID-19-related interruption in the annual schedule, the San Joaquin Valley Policy Conference is back!

“San Joaquin Valley Policy Conference: The Road Ahead” is open to the public and covers a variety of topics that affect everyone living in in San Joaquin Valley, including transportation, housing, state and federal funding, climate change, social equity and more. It is May 11-13 at the Clovis Veterans Memorial District in downtown Clovis. Register for the conference here: https://sjvcogs.org/events/conference-registration/.

The San Joaquin Valley Policy Council is also seeking nominations for 2022 San Joaquin Valley Blueprint Awards, intended to encourage quality planning and development in the valley by recognizing Blueprint Principles. Information on criteria, deadlines and more can be found in the nomination packet: https://bit.ly/3taUE8B.

The Policy Council provides a forum on regional issues that affect residents throughout the valley, such as transportation and air quality, and is intended to provide a single vision for the entire valley. The San Joaquin Council of Governments is one of eight regional agencies that make up the Policy Council. The others are Fresno Council of Governments; Kern Council of Governments; Kings County Association of Governments; Madera County Transportation Commission; Merced County Association of Governments; Stanislaus Council of Governments; and Tulare County Association of Governments.
