Top News Posted on April 28, 2025

The San Joaquin Council of Governments (SJCOG) is introducing an electronic newsletter to reach even more people interested in the first phase of the agency’s highway-to-highway State Route 99/120 Connector project in Manteca expected to be completed in spring 2026.

Published roughly four times a year, the SR 99/120 Connector Chronicles will provide project updates, photos and videos of work, and more. The inaugural electronic newsletter has information on project benefits, the removal of the Austin Road overcrossing bridge, and a video flyover of the first phase of the project.

There’s also signup information for regular updates, including those for the SR 99/120 Connector Chronicles electronic newsletter.

SJCOG partners with a network of local governments, private organizations and community groups to deliver a variety of local, state and federal programs that support the streets, roads, highways, public transit, and other transportation resources that help our residents get where they need to be. It is also responsible for assigning each city and the county its fair share of affordable housing.
