San Joaquin Valley Policy Conference
Join us for the 16th annual San Joaquin Valley Regional Planning Agencies Policy Conference hosted this year by the San Joaquin Council of Governments (SJCOG). Best practices and innovations in housing, transportation, social equity, air quality and San Joaquin Valley infrastructure priorities will be highlighted throughout the conference. We will also honor local agencies and officials during the annual Blueprint Awards Ceremony Luncheon.
Keynote Spea
ker – Opening Day
The keynote speaker is San Joaquin County native and former NASA astronaut José Hernández. He is also an aerospace consultant, motivational speaker, and owner of Tierra Luna Cellars in San Joaquin County’s burgeoning wine country. He is the founder of Reaching for the Stars Foundation, which works to make Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) education more accessible to students and their communities, and grants scholarships to allow them to pursue those fields.
Event Logistics
The conference will be at the Great Wolf Lodge in Manteca on April 24 – 26, 2023. The Blueprint awards will be at noon (lunch) on April 26, 2023.
