MK Annual Report FY 18/19 Button Image: "About Measure K "Measure K has been moving the region nearly since San Joaquin County voters approved the half-cent sales tax for transportation projects in 1990 for 20 years. After seeing Measure K’s success and progress and thinking about what the future could bring, nearly 78% of county voters renewed the sales tax in 2006 for another 30 years. That’s money for street, roads and freeways, public transit networks, and pedestrian and bicycle friendly programs. Measure K, managed by the San Joaquin Council of Governments, delivers priority transportation projects residents depend on every day. Measure K — Keeps Us Moving. Member agencies in 2021-22 delivered programs and projects amounting to $58.3 million.
