Rise 'N' Ride Event
The San Joaquin Council of Governments’ March 26 Rise ‘N’ Ride event gave the public its first look at its mobility project, which includes a group of programs that will create nonprofit car- and bikeshare programs and an e-workforce development program, expand the Vamos Mobility app, and provide incentives for shared mobility services. The idea is to improve mobility equity for people in underserved neighborhoods for trips to schools, grocery stores, workplaces, doctor’s appointments and more, while also reducing vehicle emissions and improving air quality. Take a look at some of the fun.
