Public Participation Plan
The purpose of SJCOG’s Public Participation Plan is to inform and
involve citizens in SJCOG’s programs, projects, and work
activities. The plan seeks to include diverse communities such as, lower income
households, minorities, persons with disabilities, representatives from
community and service organizations, tribal councils, and other public
agencies.
2011 SJCOG Public Participation Plan San
Joaquin Council of Governments’ 2011 Public Participation Plan
includes strategies this agency uses to provide information about
programs, plans and funding decisions to the public. This plan includes
public workshops as well as electronic communication tools. It describes
in detail ways the agency tries to reach a diverse community.
2007 Public Participation Plan On May 24, 2007, following an
extensive outreach and public comment period, the Board adopted the 2007
plan.
