Local Committee Working Groups

Blueprint Regional Advisory Committee (BRAC)
The BRAC is central to the entire Blueprint effort. The committee's purpose is to make regional recommendations pertaining to the creation of the San Joaquin Valley Blueprint. The intent is for each committee member to become a champion of the final San Joaquin Valley Regional Blueprint vision, advocating its implementation to the local jurisdictions and promoting the strategies at the state and federal levels.

Blueprint Leadership Group (BLG)
The BLG will focus on the Blueprint effort in San Joaquin County. The BLG's composition will consist of individuals from Potentially Affected Interest (PAI) groups (e.g., economic development, residential/non-residential builders, state agencies, civil engineering, goods movement, small business, public transit, farming/agribusiness, citizen groups, environmental protection, and educators). The BLG will work to create the Blueprint Vision for San Joaquin County.

Blueprint Planners Roundtable (BPR)
This group will include Community Development Directors and/or a designated planner from each jurisdiction. The committee will review recent staff work, recommend actions to the SJCOG Governing Board and provide staff with specific input on issues pertaining to the Blueprint effort.
