Celebrate Rideshare Week October 5 - 9, 2009

Help celebrate Rideshare Week October 5-9, 2009 by carpooling, vanpooling, taking the bus or train. Commute Connection in conjunction with the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District is having drawings to give away $2,000 worth of gift cards . Only those who live and/or work in San Joaquin or Stanislaus Counties are eligible.

Register to find a rideshare partner from October 1st - 9th or commuters who are currently registered and pledge to rideshare at least once during Rideshare Week by completing a Rideshare Week Registration form are eligible for the drawing.

With the roller-coaster gas prices over the last few years, it has showed us all the need to consider ways to cut transportation costs. Sharing the ride is a great alternative to driving alone. It means sharing the cost and often access to those fast-moving carpool lanes, free toll booths and more!
