One Voice Dates Set

The SJCOG Board has set the dates for the 2009 and 2010 One Voice Trips: April 25-April 2009 and April 17-April 21, 2010. The dates coincide with the second week following the Spring break for congressional staff. This year’s trip took 64 residents back to Washington, D.C. to lobby for 24 projects for a better San Joaquin. Appropriations requests were submitted for projects throughout the county, including State Route 12 improvements, flood protection for the Lathrop-Stockton areas, highway interchange improvements for Manteca and Tracy and a Highway 99/Harney Lane improvement for Lodi, among others.
