SJCOG Provides Video Teleconference for Air District Public Workshop
The San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District will be holding a public workshop to present, discuss, and receive comments on Rule 9410 (Employer Based Trip Reduction), which will require larger employers to start a trip reduction program by July 2010.

SJCOG will be a video teleconference center for this workshop, which begins at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 7, 2009. SJCOG offices are located at 555 East Weber Avenue, Stockton. For more information, contact Yvette Davis at 468-3913.

Public Transportation Survey
The San Joaquin Regional Transit District (RTD), in partnership with the City of Stockton, is inviting you to take part in a Public Transportation Survey. This survey is web-based and will be available online through June 2009.

This study will focus on the customer and include an in-depth count of RTD riders and a survey of travel habits. The study will include a public outreach plan that includes community meetings and a number of ways RTD customers to provide their input. Please take a moment to take the survey

   
 

ARRA Roadway, Transit Projects on Track
San Joaquin County’s American Recovery and Reinvestment Act projects are on track for funding, with some expected to be obligated as early as this month. The San Joaquin County and City of Stockton projects are in line to be the first. Once these projects are obligated for funding, construction schedules can be set.
