2011 Final RTP, EIR, FTIP, and Air Quality Conformity Analysis Documents Released
SJCOG has released the final draft documents for the 2011 RTP, RTP Environmental Impact Report, FTIP, and Air Quality Conformity Analysis.  

 
 

Final Draft Lower Sacremento Road/UPRR Grade Separation Feasibility Study
SJCOG has released the Final Draft of the Lower Sacramento Road/UPRR Grade Separation Alteration Feasibility Study. The report looked at improvements that address the safety, capacity, and operational concerns associated with the project area.

 

Final Draft 2011 Federal Transportation Improvement Program
SJCOG has released the Final Draft for the 2011 FTIP which  lists every transportation project that will receive federal funds or that is subject to a federally required action, such as a review for its impact on air quality.

Final EIR for State Route 4 Crosstown Freeway Ramp Extension Project
SJCOG has released the Final EIR which examines the environmental effects of a proposed project on State Route 4 in San Joaquin County.

 
 

Draft I-205/I5 Corridor System Management Plan
SJCOG has released the Draft I-205/I-5 CSMP which presents the results of the I-205/I-5 Corridor System Management Plan (CSMP) co-developed by Caltrans District 10, the San Joaquin Council of Governments (SJCOG) and the various corridor stakeholders.

State Route 12 Corridor Advisory Committee
SJCOG Board members Chairman Larry Hansen and Supervisor Ken Vogel were named to a panel of five elected officials on the State Route 12 Corridor Advisory Committee. Their charge is to oversee creating a plan so that the notorious two-lane road from Lodi to Napa has fewer fatal accidents. Find out more.

   

I-205 Project Wins TRANNY Award
Congratulations to SJCOG, Caltrans District 10, O.C. Jones & Sons and C.C. Myers, Inc. on winning the top Freeway/Interstate Project of the Year Award for the widening of Interstate 205 through San Joaquin  County from the California Transportation Foundation! 

Up against the top transportation projects completed across the state in 2009, the I-205 Widening took top honors! The project was cited for overcoming many obstacles, including funding, through cooperation and support among project team members. Great work!

   
 

SJCOG Approves San Joaquin County Regional Blueprint Vision
The San Joaquin County Regional Blueprint Vision was approved by the SJCOG Policy Board on January 28, 2010. A special thank-you is extended to the Blueprint Leadership Group and the Blueprint Planners' Roundtable for the time and expertise they lent to this project. Thank-you also to the hundreds of San Joaquin County citizens who participated in the Blueprint process. The document both summarizes the Blueprint process in San Joaquin County and sets the stage for future action. View Vision
